Fine art has two enemies, and both are physical: humidity — which seeps up from the floor, condenses on cold walls, and wicks into boards never raised off the ground — and force — the lateral shock of a truck, a ship, a careless forklift that racks a flimsy box into a parallelogram.

This crate answers the first with150 mm of fork-skid clearance: the entire envelope floats above pooled water, warehouse damp and condensation, with air moving freely underneath so moisture can never climb into the canvas. It answers the second with abay-divided frame (3 × 2 bays) and an X-brace lattice of X-brace lattice X-brace lattice, 16 crosses — boards notched and embracement-joined so each bay becomes a rigid diaphragm that cannot rack, cannot twist, and carries lateral force as pure diagonal tension.
